The Mission and Message of the Gospel
"Go and make disciples of all the nations." Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
My church just completed our 54th Global Ministries Conference. This year's theme was "Leading the Nations to Jesus" and our key verse was John 12:21 "Sir, we wish to see Jesus." Thirty-one of our international staff serving around the world came to share reports of how Jesus is at work making His Name known across the globe. Our congregation was greatly encouraged as we heard many stories of evangelism, discipleship, and church planting in Africa, India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and more. The Gospel is truly on the move!
One of the 2019 Missions Conference highlights for me personally was found on page 33 in our conference brochure. Most of you probably think like me and wonder "Besides writing a check, what can I do?" 20 Ways You Can Serve In Missions provides a wide variety of ways for all of us to engage in Missions ministry. To that end, I am sharing Briarwood's list with you with the hope that our list will encourage you to develop your own.

All of us may not be able to go and tell the nations the good news of the Gospel. But all of us can pray and give to that end. The mission of the Church is still the message of the Gospel. What are we doing to share it with those who so desperately need to hear it?
